Mountain West Burrito is Not a Vegan Restaurant, but it Has Vegan Options.  In fact, Mountain West Burrito has vegan cheese and sour cream options on their menu.  Provo has seen an increase in vegan restaurant options over the past few years.  Mountain West Burrito is part of the Heirloom Restaurant Group.  The Heirloom Restaurant Group includes Mountain West Burrito, Pizzeria 712, and Communal.   The restaurant is located at1796 N. 950 W. in Provo.  It is open Monday – Saturday from 11:00am – 9:00pm and is closed Sundays.  The menu includes: Burritos, Chimichangas, Salads, Nachos, Quesadillas, Tacos, and additional sides.  They have very large portion sizes.  The options include Vegetarian, free range Chicken, Steak, Carnitas, and Roasted Veggie.  The burritos include a beans and rice option.  Mountain West’s Burrito chicken comes from Mary’s Free-Range Chickens, a family owned business that has been raising poultry for three generations. These chickens are raised naturally with plenty of room to roam and a vegetarian protein diet with no animal by-products, antibiotics, or additives.  Mountain West Burrito is given a 4/5 for vegetarian restaurants in Provo by Happy Cow.  Mountain West Burrito caters to local businesses in Provo and Orem.

Local Entrepreneur Frequents Mountain West Burrito

Christian Faulconer is a local entrepreneur who often goes to Mountain West Burrito for lunch.  In 2010 Christian was ranked one of the “top 40 under 40″ by Utah Business magazine.  He is CEO of Franchise Foundry, and is running for the Provo School District Board.   Christian says about Mountain West Burrito, “Mountain West Burrito is one of my favorite places to meet people for lunch.  The food is great!  The service is unbeatable!”   Currently Mountain West Burrito will give free chips and salsa to anyone who gets there by riding their bike.  Mountain West Burrito is very health conscious.  Check them out the next time you are in Provo!
